Welcome to Sneha
Sneha, Inc. is a Connecticut-based network for women of South Asian origin and their families.
We work to support and empower women, particularly survivors of domestic violence.
Sneha also assists in acculturation situations that arise from lack of traditional family support and/or unfamiliarity with United States laws and resources. [ more ]
Do You Need Help?
Domestic violence is a pattern of abuse where one person tries to gain or maintain power and control over another person. It can be physical, sexual, emotional (name calling / constant criticism), economic (limiting access to money / employment) and/or psychological (fear / intimidation / isolation from others).
Please feel free to Contact Us on our toll-free help line (800-58-SNEHA) or via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you feel you may be in a domestic violence situation or you are struggling to acculturate to life in the United States. We are a multi-lingal South Asian member group.
Even if you are not residing in the state of Connecticut, feel free to reach out to us. We may be able to connect you to networks similar to us that are located closer to your area.
Sneha holds monthly board and general member meetings, typically on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Please call the Sneha phone line or email at email@example.com for details on location and time. Information about upcoming outreach and fundraising events can be found on our Facebook page.
